online TOOLS
Welcome to AGRISTATLAB’s online free tools You can find following tools on this website. More tools will be added in future.
PLOT YIELD CALCULATOR: You can input your small plot yield, plot size, moisture and tool will calculate moisture adjusted yield per hectare or other units.
UNIT CONVERTOR: Many units are available like Area, Length, Pressure, Temperature, Volume, Weight, Yield.
SEED RATE CALCULATOR: This will calculate seed required per acre or other units based on information you provide like population required per sq meter, area, germination rate, thousand kernal weight (TKW) etc.
EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN GENERATOR: This tool will help you design your multi-location experimental designs (RCBD, CRD, Alpha Lattice). You will be able to download field layout (PNG) and field book (CSV).
PARTIALLY REPLICATED DESIGN (pRep): This tool will help you design your multi-location, pRep designs. You will be able to download field layout (PNG) and field book (CSV).
plot yield calculator
Plot yield calculator will help you to convert raw plot yield into adjusted yield with moisture (or without moisture, if data is not available).
* About Plot yield Calculator
This tool helps convert raw plot yield (from grams, lbs or kilograms) to standardized yield metrics like tons per hectare (t/ha), kilograms per acre (kg/acre), and bushels per acre (bu/acre).
If moisture content varies between samples, adjusting yields to a common moisture (e.g. 8%, 10%, 13%, or 14%) ensures fair comparison. The formula used is:Adjusted Yield = Raw Yield × (100 - Sample Moisture) / (100 - Target Moisture)
Unit convertor
Looking to convert kilograms to pounds, t/ha to bu/ac, Celsius to Fahrenheit—or anything in between? AgriStatLab’s free unit conversion tool helps you handle complex agricultural metrics with ease. This tool will help you common following common units to convert.
- Area: sqft, sqm, acres, hectares
- Length: centimeters, meters, inches, feet
- Pressure: atm, bar, psi, kPa
- Temperature: Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin
- Volume: fl oz, ml, liters, gallons
- Weight: Ounces, grams, pounds, kilograms
- Yield: lb/ac, kg/ha, t/ha, bu/ac (wheat)
Unit Converter
Note: For yield units in bu/ac, crop-specific standard weight is used (e.g., wheat = 60 lbs/bu, canola = 50 lbs/bu, corn = 56 lbs/bu).
aGRISTATLAB’S SEED RATE CALCULATOR
This Seed Rate Calculator helps estimate the required seed quantity based on your target plant population, germination rate, thousand seed weight, and seedling survival expectations. You can also calculate seed rate for small plots by specifying the exact area. All calculations are standardized to plants per hectare for accurate comparison.
